• New Star provide advanced academics and well-designed extracurricular activities that led students to achieve academic excellence and gain a solid foundation. 

• New Star's advanced academic curriculum meets each student’s level based on the assessment test given in the first week of each semester.
  
• Students work on Science Reading, Reading Comprehension, Language/Writing  Skills, Vocabulary, Critical Thinking, and Advanced Math assignments that enhances their skills and potential at their own pace.

• Students learn and take turns practicing public speaking and leadership skills.
• New Star students have won top speech contests in the DFW and North Texas area.
  
  • In the 2009 North Texas Youth speech tournament, New Star students won 10 out of 45 prizes, including first place in almost every group level out of 200 contestants.

• Chinese classes teach students the Chinese language, customs, history, and culture that connect with many students’ daily lives. Students are expected to finish their daily Chinese homework and master the weekly lessons.
